Sales of contracts on behalf of the major German mobile phone operators and service providers are primarily via getmobile’s own TV sales on getmobile.TV and via its internet sites in particular www.getmobile.de [1], www.preiswerthandy.de [2] and www.besthandy.de [3]. getmobile is the largest independent online seller of mobile phone contracts in Germany. getmobile also makes sales on behalf of large German corporate partners such as ADAC, Germany’s largest automobile club.

 

getmobile has recently (November 2007) established Premingo GmbH to operate an open internetplatform to offer other household contracts with free bundles consumer goods which has been launched mid year 2008.

getmobile is a UK public company whose shares are quoted on the AIM market in London and at the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The business was founded in 1999 by CEO Tim Schwenke and Daniel Wild as Germany’s first online  mobile phone shop and came to the IEX and AIM markets in 2005 via the reverse takeover of Fitzwilliam Capital plc an AIM company established by the chairman, venture capitalist Pierce Casey.
