Business Strategy
With a debt free balance sheet, (€9,7 million cash at 30 June 2008) and a deep knowledge of the German mobile phone and e-commerce markets getmobile’s strategy is two fold:
- Maintain its market leading position in the independent direct sale of mobile phone contracts in Germany while growing market share by a specific focus on the internet channel combined with its strength in the TV space (organically and via acquisitions).
- Seek to develop new internet based business models for the German market either on its own account or via appropriate joint venture structures.
These strategic aims have been reflected in the acquisition of KK Media GmbH (the owner of
www.preiswerthandy.de) in 2006, the establishment of Premingo GmbH in 2007, operating since mid 2008 under
www.premingo.de, a new open internet platform which will offer consumers a variety of household contracts such as insurance, electricity and cable TV services bundled with free consumer goods and the launch of another Mobilephone-Online shop
www.bsthandy.de in October 2008.
